The internal air bag moves in a scissor-like motion to absorb vibrations, while the rubber compound softens jarring movement. An oil shock absorber handles rebound action, dampens kickback, and controls chucking. The result is a smooth and comfortable towing experience even on rugged roads.
The Flex Air® Pin Box has a gross trailer weight of 18,000 lbs. and is designed to replace Lippert 1621 pin boxes. It uses the same bolts as the original pin box, making installation a breeze.
