They are supplied with a genuine 3 Inch GM air filter elements for maximum airflow. The air cleaner lid attaches to a short stud that is screwed into the center of the carburetor. Lid has a threaded boss on the underside, and is simply spun into place by the installer. The air cleaner bases are recessed for a low profile appearance, maximum performance, and hood clearance.
